Great place. The spicy sauce and Cajun fries are the best. Really recommend it if you are in the mood for a snack or dinner. Also those of you who like spicy food will really enjoy it.
This is a really great tasting burger, smash burger, warmed toasted bun, fresh toppings, great fresh cut fries. Friendly staff, eat in, take out, lots of outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. If you are looking for something other than traditional fast food and you are near the intersection of King and Columbia or University check out GC Burger in Waterloo.
Came with a friend for the first time, unsure what to expect. The employees working were extremely friendly, answering questions and giving suggestions of things to try. And our cashier checked in on us after making sure everything was good. Trying the GC burger that had buttered buns with smashed patties, the burger was awesome! Nice and moist but not super greasy, nice crust on the outside of the burger and a nice amount of toppings. The Cajun fries are really good too with their dipping sauce. Bit on the more expensive side for burgers but you do get a lot of food; the fry box was huge! Will be back again!
Best burger I have had without a doubt! Mohammad is a master cook! in all my visits, the quality was always consistent (regardless of what you order). Great variety within the menu. Highly recommend everyone to try GC Burger, you will never regret stepping into this place!

An urban burger eatery with the charm of a classic burger joint, this place is now my go-to when I’m in Waterloo craving a halal burger. I believe in trying a variety, so I ordered 3 different burgers. The GC Burger, the hallmark of this eatery, impressed me with its perfect balance of flavors. The buttered bun, toasted to golden perfection, cradled a juicy beef patty that was complemented by a melt-in-your-mouth slice of cheddar cheese. Crisp lettuce and ripe tomato added a refreshing crunch, while the signature GC Sauce, rich and tangy, tied everything together, making each bite an unforgettable experience. The meal was made even better with the other 2 burgers. The Cheese Stack featured layers of cheddar cheese and a juicy beef patty, all brought together with fresh toppings and the signature GC Sauce for a satisfying bite, while the Crispy OG Fresh burger combined a perfectly seasoned, crispy buttermilk chicken with pickles and GC Sauce, creating a crunchy and flavorful experience. Paired with a side of truffle fries, each crispy bite was infused with the earthy richness of truffle oil, making them the perfect indulgent accompaniment to the meal. We visited here with 20 ppl. One staff only, taking orders , flipping burgers , fried everything! Hands down to him ! Awesome guy , we Suddenly we storm this place from no one to full house. Too bad weather wasn’t great, we didn’t sit outside. I ordered gc burger and Hot Canadian awesome burger with good price.
We came in with a group of 26 people and There’s only 1 staff taking orders and cooking, he handled everything with no problem no miss orders and in a completely great manner!! His name is Mohammad!! Best staff in town!
